Academic Program

Embarking on a journey towards a fulfilling nursing career begins with the admission process at the Hayat Institute of Nursing. We offer a range of courses tailored to meet the diverse aspirations of aspiring healthcare professionals.


  • General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) - 3 years and 6 months
  • Our comprehensive GNM program spans three years and six months, equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the field of nursing. This course prepares individuals to provide quality healthcare services with a focus on general nursing and midwifery.
  • Auxiliary Nursing and Midwifery (ANM) - 2 years
  • The ANM program, spanning two years, is designed to empower students with the essential competencies required for a successful nursing career. By emphasizing auxiliary nursing and midwifery, this course equips students to provide compassionate care to individuals in need.
  • Baby Nursing & Child Care (BNCC) - 6 months
  • Our specialized BNCC course, spanning six months, focuses on the unique healthcare needs of infants and children. Students gain valuable insights and practical skills to nurture and care for babies, ensuring their well-being and healthy development.


To be eligible for the GNM program, applicants must fulfill the following criteria:

Admission Criteria for GNM (Total Intake-40)

  • Minimum Age: Applicants must be at least 17 years old as of December 31st of the admission year. The upper age limit is 35 years.
  • Educational Qualifications: Applicants should have successfully completed the 10+2 examination or an equivalent qualification, preferably with Science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  • English Proficiency: A minimum of 40% marks in the English subject is compulsory.
  • Intermediate Performance: Applicants must have secured a minimum of 40% marks in all subjects of the Intermediate examination.
  • Medical Fitness: Candidates should be medically fit as per the prescribed standards.
  • Admission Procedure: The admission procedure follows the guidelines set by the U.P. State Medical Faculty, Lucknow, and the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi.
